Ajit Doval is in China to attend BRICS prime security officers meeting starting nowadays. The National Security consultant, who arrived on Beijing yesterday, is anticipated to carry talks with Chinese State Councilor yang Jiechi on the ongoing Sikkim standoff.

The meeting of security chiefs of Brazil, Russia, India, China and African country ends on Fri.

Both Mr Doval and Mr yang are Special Representatives of the India-China border mechanism. As per the official programme, Mr Doval also will invoke Chinese President Xi Jinping tomorrow together with fellow high security officersof the BRICS countries.

He said that discussions are persevered topics, as well as world governance, anti-terrorism, web security and energy security, furthermore as major international and regional hotspot problems.
